How To Add Pockets To Any Dress 🌸

I posted my tutorial on how to recreate the Reformation Juliette dress recently and a lot of people said I should add pockets, so I did!

Materials used:

This is awesome! Your talent is amazing, add in you were self taught, then even saving material. I think your channel is perfect as well as inspiring! Me being a size 14 makes me feel like I could not make such beautiful fitted clothing. I know it is almost impossible to get a flattering fit at the stores. I have a large chest but am only 5 foot 2 inches. I feel sloppy in most dresses. Petite sizing usually is too tight on top. It is frustrating. My only dress that fits is a bridesmaid dress that has the psuedo corset top that was pinched in at the top and has a full skirt that was hemmed by a professional. I know I should dresses less sloppy.

You can also add pockets that are attached to the front like jean pockets. Wjen you sew the pockets together make a second set of stitches around the pocket with the skirt open and sew around the pocket all the way by hand with pick stitch.
