Thank you for translating "Freezing Transformations" to a Maya users.

It's amazing how many Blender Tutorials do some acrobatics with the origins instead of just using deltas!

Thank you for these videos, straight and to the point, and turns Maya's simplicity to Blender's many extra steps and terminology

This has saved my life. Thank you soo much. I am just doing a game jam with my friends and I wanted to use Blender instead of Maya becasue I have the student version and I want to avoid all legal problems. Thank you again.

Just to note this actually doesn't freeze transforms when exporting to other programs. This is for blender only. Exported a simple cube using this method to Maya and it didn't work

--->>FIX: 1. Apply All 2. All Transforms to Deltas 3. When exporting as an fbx (didn't check other file formats), there's an option on the right side that has a drop down menu called Transform, make sure you check Apply Transform. 4 Profit

Thanks for the brief and useful video.. It is a bit tricky trying to find your away around blender coming from Maya and most videos on the internet target super beginners

Why apply Transforms to Deltas? You can simply Apply Transforms, which will zero the Location, Rotation, and Scale without changing the Deltas. In early 2.8 there was no single command to Apply All Transforms, so you had to use the command twice to get all 3 transforms. Now there is a command to Apply All at once. This is the same as Maya's Freeze Transforms.

They should really add a apply transforms button like maya has for freeze transforms. Forgetting to do this stuff can really hurt down the road

FYI some tools like extrude and inset do not behave as expected if used on an object that has been scaled unless you apply the transforms.

When I apply the delta transforms to my object everything seems fine. However, when I import the fbx into Maya it says my scale value is 100 even though I reset it in blender. Any idea why this is the case?
