I swear this guy's team researches for 5 seconds on a random interesting topic and uploads literally right after the last upload. True respect to his team for animating this so fast

As much as i have goten to like the animation, it would have been great to see the actual Google images in this video.

I'm fascinated to learn that Google Maps discovered the wreckage of the Titanic in 2019. It does create a bit of a time paradox, though, since the wreckage of RMS Titanic was discovered in 1985 by a joint expedition undertaken by French and US oceanic institutions and funded by the US. But a time paradox is more likely than Infographics being a disreputable content mill, right?

4:30 Lago Vermelho literally means "Red Lake"

I'm pretty sure the red lake water is caused by a mineral deposit. This has happened in other places where mass amounts of minerals wash off into the lake and cause to change colors for a small period of time.

So the guy in the car in the lake
Doesn't seem to have anything to do with Google maps

The info on Titanic was filled with inaccuracies. Kind makes everything else seem a little sus.

24:25 "the largest man made ship ever Modern cruise ships are, on average, 20% longer than the Titanic and twice as high. It "was" the biggest at the time, but it wasn't the biggest ever built.

The wreck of RMS Titanic lies at a depth of about 3, 800 metres. This would be too deep to spot from the surface by any optic method. Where were those Google cameras that claimed to spot the Titanic? When did Google maps start mapping the Atlantic Ocean?

Did they really just say the Titanic was found via google maps in 2019, when it was actually found by Robert Ballard in 1985?

The name of our country is “the Netherlands”, not “Holland”. And Almere is not even in the 2 provinces of Holland. We also do not have any mountains in the Netherlands.

The titanic confuses me. If it cannot be seen with the eye using satellite, then how did they actually pinpoint the titanic with the satellite? O.o

The Titanic is not the largest ship ever built, every modern cruise ship is far larger.

07:50 I thought that Google street view blurred out people's faces? There had been to many cases of there being pictures of "customers" walking out of "massage parlours" ("Hey look, isn't that your husband tucking in his shirt?")

Titanic is not the largest man made moving object, that position is of the Seawise Giant

Google maps street view used to have pictures of me and my family carrying groceries into our house
