Intro by Anthony Salinas:

This channel specialises in narrating scary true stories. They are mostly collected from Reddit forums and 2chan, as well as from viewer submissions. They are similar to other channels such as Mr Nightmare and Letsread! I also do the occasional creepy pasta and countdown list.

If you would like to hear more creepy, fear inducing stories then please show your support by liking and subscribing, and until next time, remember: the best things happen in the dark.

Issei Sagawa is a monster. Imagine your daughter is brutally murdered by a classmate, then having to see him not be properly brought to justice and instead revered as a celebrity.

Thank you for talking about Mia Zapata! I'm a Seattleite and child of grunge and her murder was so horrifying! Hearing her name still makes me incredibly sad, but I'm glad her killer is finally where he should be. She's still a legend around here ❤ Rest in Peace, darling Mia! ❤

the girlscout murders still fucks me up to this day. it's so infuriating that the families of the victims lost that legal battle too

Story one: Hi. Medical field here. That sounds like damage from a pressure wave. The damage to the lungs can happen if you are hit by a sufficiently strong pressure wave, and you don't have your mouth open. Without an easy way out, it sort of bounces around inside you. It also explains the foaming blood from the mouth, which is a classic example of lung damage. The eyes however, are from birds. Soft tissue is always eaten first, and birds love eyes and tongues.

How Issei Sagawa managed to evade prison is just beyond me. I don't even understand why his parents got him out. Like sure he's their son, but the guy killed and cannibalised a women. How can you morally justify that. Unless...he isn't the only cannibal in his family.

“How come you lie to me”

“Because i was trying to catch you”.

That was the most savage rebut from the detective to the killer i have ever heard

Dude, with two huge exams tomorrow I thought I'd have a hard time falling asleep. This could not have come at a better time. ❤️

Guys I passed all of my exams, thank you so much for wishing me good luck, all of you! What a wholesome community! 🌺

The Sagawa case is so sad. Rene felt sorry for him and befriended him when he was being shunned and ridiculed by other college mates. She had a kind heart but all it got was her being murdered and no justice for her family.

For the red lake one, major respect to the woman for taking down the video in respect to the victims

Whenever I have auto play on, the algorithm brings me right to this video. It’s weird because I first got addicted to YouTube during a period of depression in quarantine. Lazy was the channel I deep dived first, staying up for days listening lol. It’s a strange and eerie callback once I’m falling asleep and then hear those famous words “Most people are familiar with the Dyaltov Pass incident…”

*”The victim’s mother was able to identify her daughter, due to a distinctive mole on the boiled face…”*
That is easily one of the most horrific statements I have ever heard.🥺💔

I was at the bar that she had been in the night she died . The next day I had to go back to grab my ID that I have left and that’s when I found out.I never met her but it really rocked our community. I walked home alone many times those days, thinking I was young, fast and there were usually a lot of people around. Not after that. We all made sure to walk together after a night out :(. RIP Mia💕

'Someone out there knows something.' The bonechilling truth about these tragic crimes or unsolved mysteries - someone knows something and will take it to their grave. ☹️

the real question is who started this game of Jumanji last year and still hasn't finished their shenanigans?

The Girl Scout case is truly one of the most horrifying tales I’ve ever heard. Someone made a threat but the people in charge of the kids safety brushed it off
