The Kyle Clinkscales story really makes you think how many corpses are just lying around not far away for people to see, but covered somehow

The first story reminds me a LOT of a random book I found in an antique shop last year called ‘a wife in name only’. It centers on a man whose beloved wife dies in childbirth and a kind woman takes her in (temporarily) while he goes home to take care of his sick father. Since men before the 60s really couldn’t raise a child on their own. The woman becomes so attached to the baby that she never tells her of her father and raises her as if she’s her own. She even goes on the run with her when she hears that the father is back for his daughter and he searches for her for years until he finally finds her once she’s married. Anyway yeah just thought that was a weird coincidence.

Alberta and Joe’s story is so sad. Just people trying to do their best in life and it still ended in tragedy.

The mom in the last story must have felt so guilty.

The idea by the Newport Beach Police to renew attention on the case and try getting new leads was very good.

I think it is a good idea to bring back some old Unsolved Mysteries cases that were not solved because that show helped solve so many cases. Nobody really watches cable anymore so if Youtubers picked up where the show left off it could help get awareness out about ongoing cases.

why are these three stories specifically the most heartbreaking bittersweet endings ever? especially the last one, no justice whatsoever

Criminally underrated. Like the video so it gets suggested to others.

It's very unfortunate that Alberta passed away so young due to a crazy ex, but I am happy that Joseph got the chance to figure out what happened to her before his death. I'm certain that provided an immense sense of closure. So many other situations like this usually involve one of the parties passing away before they ever come to a conclusion (I always think of the case with Amanda Berry and how her mom passed away before getting to find out that her daughter was in fact alive, and not dead like that so called 'psychic' claimed), I'm glad that in this case, there was closure.

Kyle's mother lasted just long enough to find out what happened, at least in regards to his fate. Not many can say that about such old cases

I love this series, so many people go over these cold cases but never follow up on them when they’re solved.

What I want to know is why Joe Schambier's wife's dying wish was to place their daughter into the custody of Alice Miller. Why would the wife not want to put the daughter into the hands of a close relative? That's strange to me. It almost makes me think that the wife _wanted_ the daughter to lose contact with her father.

Best straightforward content with understandable stories beginning to end.

Oh they found Kyle! I heard his case before, at that point they had no clue where he had gone or what happened to him! I’m glad he’s been found, though it’s sad his parents didn’t get the closure of knowing.
