I'm going to be honest I'm glad that you discovered such a useful tool but you're making me cringe with how you're using it because you're not using it the right way you're supposed to use your thumb to get leverage and then you let the blade find its own angle I know it's easy to just scrape it on there and let whatever happens happen but you're really killing me man

Oh those things are great! I didn’t have one for the longest time and when I got one I was kicking myself nor not getting it sooner

This is probably a lot easier and safer than my personal method, the iconic “opening up a pair of scissors and scraping the blade along the print until I inevitably slice my finger off”

If anyone didn't know this was made for plumbing for when you would cut pvc pipe, the tool as shown would clean up the edges inside and outside of the pipe for a better deal and a better fit but, can still be used for anything that is plastic

The one featured is currently unavailable at this time, however their aluminum version is and OMG you dont know how many time I cut myself this week with an X-Acto before I got this tool. This tool is a finger saver and I am super happy with only about 5 minutes of use. Clean up on miniature vehicles is quick and nice and getting supports off is quite more efficent now. Thank you so very much Uncle Jessy!

Great tool. I work at a plastic injection molding factory and we use deburring tools on our products to clean them up. Alot of different blades for different situations too.

I've used one at work years ago. Titanium blade. Actually works better with less pressure. If it's skipping, you're either using too much pressure or it's dull.

You took your time! Can't imagine without.

It was designed for deburing coper and steel pipes the are going to be soldered together to keep little bits of metal from entering a pressurized system such as a gas or ac line

There are very few 3d printed storage options for this specific deburring tool. Both cases and gridifnity holders are more common for the metal handled hexagonal kind.
Just something to consider when buying one

Take a look at the Noga deburring tools, they are a bit more expensive than other options available online, but they make a ceramic deburring blade specifically for plastics and thin sheet metal. It works very good when deburring the edges of a plastic part, and they have them in difference shapes so you can get into hard to reach areas.

I am a machinist and I use this to debur thin edges in various metals. Though I've never seen someone whittle edges like so in this video before.

Hot take…use deburrer tool?!
There’s videos from 6 years ago about using this tool for 3D Printing.
Oh, I see he has an affiliate link for the tool that helps make this video make sense.

I wish I'd known you didn't know about this awesome tool - I'd have spread the word sooner! Whenever I'm teaching a new maker about 3D printing and getting them set up, a deburring tool is always a required piece in the starter kit I give them. Can't recommend it enough!
