This series tells the story of how back in 2018 my family and I (My wife and 3 kids) decided we had had enough of the LA wannabe landlord craziness and paying ridiculous rent ($1300 for a room anyone lol!). So we decided to jump out into the wild blue yonder of crazy LA. We went voluntarily homeless with the goal of saving our money and buying a used RV. Wish us luck! What we really needed was a miracle!

Go to Las Tunas Beach, it's a little inlet off Route 1 in Malibu, I just spent three days chillin' listening to the waves. You'll see a lifeguard tower there and room for 8-10 cars.

According to you, this is your choice to live in the car and that you are ok with the decision you made. However your family are not ok with your decision and your wife’s opinion should matter. I get that California is very expensive but there are a lot cities in another state that are not. I will be praying that the Lord gives you guidance and protect you and your family. God bless🙏🙏🙏

I can understand your mother in laws concerns & if you love her you must share concerns for her welfare. I’m sorry 😞 your first night was difficult (but it’s all new, right?). I’d consider doing door dash or SOMETHING to generate income (maybe several streams of income). I’ve been in L.A. & can tell you tent (even stealth) isn’t healthy for your children. Just a suggestion: leave L.A! Yup, you gotta leave…go get established elsewhere & take CARE of everybody…then come back . First things first. The goal right now is to not have everyone “come around” to being homeless…the GOAL is to establish a safe home for your family .
