Great information, especially on the protein.

My story: 6'1" 260lbs, 62yo.. was sedentary for 1.5yrs; diagnosed with very low testosterone and low metabolism (recently medicated for these and ED). Unfortunately, complete dad bod transformation over the past several years.

I have a fear of a pull up bar wrecking my door frame 🤣
As I'm too lazy to get up and down on the floor, I do leaning push ups against my bathroom counter, feet against the wall frame floor, every time I go on there. Multiple 20-30/reps; min 60/day. This and walking 3.5-4.5 miles (4mph) multiple times a week, I see decreasing moobs 😁 seems that I also need to increase protein WAY more than I used to.

Intermittent fasting, which I mostly do unintentionally because I forget breakfast or have oatmeal or 16oz protein drink. Sometimes I forget lunch so will have a snack (non protien unless I grab some almonds). Normally eat pork roast or brisket lunch/dinner.

Now I have to figure out how to get rid of the under carriage/side rib cage fat under my arm pit (side moobs) 🤓

hi doc i am a 17 year old who wants to define himself, im in a caloric deficit, but im not seeing real results in 3 month and im only noticing more strength and more muscle, like it would be a bulking phase, i can admit during the week im following the defict but on weekends let say 2 days a week i eat whatever i want and even alchol, saying to myself its just a cheat day. My question is, do you think im not getting shredded because of this cheat days or why that, because im in this defict eating at 1800 kcal 900 kcal deficit and no shredding, so its the cheat days who screw up everything or is like somebody says online where i cutted to much calories and i should go at my maintenance or even like a 200 kcal surplus?
Thk you if you will help me out and surely on may i will try your 3 weeks plan of shredding fast asp.

16:12 I remember having this conversation with you many moons a go and you told me that that wasn’t a good idea to be eating that much protein….. and that I needed to add more different things into my diet instead of just eating meat . And I remember telling you you don’t need to eat anything but me because it’s very saturating …and now you’re preaching my same message to millions of other people ….. I love it lol

And you’re supposed to be telling people you don’t eat to your weight you eat until you’re full your appetite will grow. If you’re working out all your nutrients will fall into place until you get up to a certain amount of intake which would be your max until you stop working out then your appetite will go down as well

But isn’t it 1g per ideal body weight? So if I’m 250lbs and I want to get to 200lbs- it should be 200g of protein. Please clarify
