To refresh peoples mind:

Base PS5 Elden Ring:
-Frame-rate mode internally renders at a dynamic 1512p to 2160p resolution

-Quality mode renders at native 4K

-RT mode internally renders at 1620P

The number of people in the comments who are missing the point of 60fps AT MAX QUALITY is blowing my mind right now.

Hope we can finally use the "Rebuild Database" feature on PS5 Pro to improve Elden Ring's FPS.

Elden Ring is just not well made on a technical level and nothing will ever hide that completely. I love the game, I have hundreds of hours playtime in it. But it is not a title that scales properly to hardware, not really on console and especially not on PC.

Good news. Now people can roll around for 70% of a fight at a locked 60 lol

Do we not think just dropping the resolution to 1080p would be enough to get us there on base PS5.

Since the stable 60fps is the real goal, the pickle is Elden Ring is too unoptimized, the ps5 tries to use too many higher settings and the exponential power draw is a problem (very much the same for a stable 60fps on PC too).
I will be unsurprised if the PS4 version on the PS5 Pro is still the best version for staple 60fps chasers.

Maybe, if fromsoft updates for it. Back in ps4 pro all they did was unlock the framerate on DS3 and it ran at 40 to 45 fps.
Ps6 will brute force it most likely.

the real question is, can it run bloodborne at 60fps with boost mode, if so ps5 pro is worth getting till gta 6 drops

I swear y'all in these comment sections look for any reason to hate the pro even when it's doing well... You know you don't have to buy it right and it won't kill you to say the pro is actually doing good even if you can't afford it.

Ps4 back compatibility on ps5 pro would be best way to play.

Lo debería correr a 60 fps a 1080*1920 sin trazado de rayos sin problemas. Y a 1440*2160 igual unos 50-55 FPS y a 3840*2160 quizá a 30-35 FPS sin utilizar trazado de rayos.

I wouldn't be surprised to see any of the AAA games getting a patch to 'improve performance' or whatever vague description they give.

I'm more interested in how game boost will effect gta online with its dated coding and how this will transfer across in performance of the game real-time

I’d be interested if this is likely to improve a game like Dragon Age Inquisition? I used to be able to play it on PS4 Pro but the low FPS jank is too much for my brain on my current PS5.

I think PS4 Pro had some upscaling that isn’t working on this game with PS5. Either that or I’ve just grown accustomed to smoother performance.

Can you do this comparison for Call of Duty? But predict what things would be like in 120 FPS mode? Thanks.

There is no power on hell or earth that can fix ER's frame pacing., sadly

I really don’t understand this comments on “for the first time at 60fps on console” that already happened, put the ps4 version on the ps5 it runs with reduced graphical settings but locked 60fps, and it looks good still, but yeah, the PS5 pro would probably run the PS5 performance mode at locked 60 as well, now with increased settings and dynamic resolution

Well let's hope it does but its probably not a system seller on its own if Elden Ring does run at locked 60. Bloodborne at 60fps might be but we don't know if boost mode will work on it.
