Is PS5 Pro Worth It Just For PSVR2 BOOSTS?

I’m preordering our game store did an alright deal if I trade my old ps5 in I get it for $413US and I think I get another 5% of trade in value cause I’m a plus member so maybe $392US pretty okay deal I thought and I already own the VR2 and an expensive af tv for it 🤣

Highly speculative video. Nothing was said in the Pro presentation about support for PSVR. They did for the PS4 Pro and PSVR1, so that tells me it's not something they are pursuing in the PS5 Pro. Secondly, there is only a 10% boost to CPU, so a game running at 60 with reprojection may not have the CPU headroom to run a game at 90. You're assuming the restriction is ONLY GPU limited. Expecting that the Pro will benefit PSVR2 is fair but there was nothing to indicate that Sony is doing this.

I wonder if it's possible to get something like Resident Evil Village VR running at 90fps instead of 60. I can't stand the motion duplication caused from PSVR2's 60-120 reprojection. Not only would 90fps eliminate that, it would reduce ghosting and make the motion smoother and more life like. 90fps needs to be standard with VR, with 120fps being more of a luxury.

Idk it Not cool to charge 700 dollars for that 😕 I'll wait to see the reviews on it and I'll decide then but as right now is worth more than the pro right now I customized it so not really worth it to me right now but if it gives more power to my psvr2 I might....?

Psvr2 is sadly to blurry because of wrong lenses, the sweetspot is not good. Also there are not enough good games worth it to play. Sony should allow 3rd party headsets to connect for vr, quest 3 for example .

What a BS, psvr2 is not dead. They make a vr so developers can make games for. As long devs make games it's not dead and there are still going games coming
