People aren’t “haters” nor are they “poor” bc they dislike the PS5 Pro, the console simply just set the tone for future greed that Sony know you all will allow. PS Plus subscription literally cost more than the games, people allowed it, Controllers went up even though they’ve been known to not be durable and have stick drift, people allowed it, now this $700 console forces you to buy a disc drive separately in order to use your physical media that you already bought? Also forces you to buy a $30 stand separately despite them promoting the console standing up & the base PS5 literally came with them in the box. The greed & anti-consumer practices are only gonna get worse if they see people are willing to still buy these things. To each their own, spend your money as you please, but the power does lie in the consumer hands and it does determine the future of what any company will consider doing whether it’s for the better or worst.

It just doesn't have enough going for it to make me want to sell my standard PS5 and buy a Pro. The issue is a lot of PS5 games already look pretty damn good (it's the whole "good art direction always beats higher graphical fidelity" thing) -- maybe not high-end gaming PC good, but they still have a lot of very good-looking games. This doesn't feel like a real leap forward yet.
