you can just max out the slider, rufus will only let you use as much as is available (e.g. ubuntu installer needs 8GB so it maxes out at 24GB for my 32GB USB)

I tried this method and everything worked until I started updating the apps. During the middle of the installation all the icons became red boxes with a cross, I though it would fix itself after the installation but then suddenly Ubuntu restarted itself ans is stuck on a loop trying to start a “snap daemon”, “thermal daemon service”, and ZSYS daemon service and it just fails and keeps looping

Thanks for the awesome vid. If I include a partition for persistent storage, can I keep files there that I can access from any computer (without booting from the USB)?.
For instance, if I stick the USB into a printer, would it still recognize the persistent partition as a regular folder from the USB while ignoring the bootable partition?
