In the video I have mentioned to remove SNAPD. That was the thing to be done with initial versions of Ubuntu 22.04. But with latest releases such as 22.04.1 or 22.04.2 or 22.04.3 . You should avoid that part of the video and DON'T REMOVE SNAP. That feature is tightly integrated with UBUNTU CORE OS. I hope you understand.

Honestly speaking Snaps and Snapd isn't bad, they are improving it significantly, if they change the compression of Snaps to Zstd and enable some sort of CPU acceleration, I think Snaps will be best, they have already changed to Lzo compression due to zstd being not available in older Ubuntu version kernels, I think by the end of year Firefox Snap will be Perfect

Preload I think is good if you run several programs alot to save time. But it could be a problem for occasional use of certain programs by hogging precious ram.

From my POV I have tested both snaps and flatpaks, the only difference i saw is that flatpaks take lots of space, idk downloads 3 different things for one app whereas snaps are small and i guess they have fixed the speed issue, nowadays snaps run almost the same as apt packages
