I found a bunch of tutorials that directed me to install WSL from the terminal, others from the app store... None of them worked. Then I came across one that instructed me to disable features, delete the paging file... I almost thought about formatting, man! Later on, you install Ubuntu on your own from the Windows store. That was the solution. Thank you very much. I hate formatting my computer; it takes me weeks because I'm also a music producer. Greetings from Colombia.

Thanks! A point missing in the video is to check "Virtual Machine Platform" in the 'Turn Windows features on or off' setting (the MS link in the error wasn't very helpful but chatgpt helped me solve the problem).

Thanks for this amazing video. Got through most of it easily but had to make a change to my UMA Buffer size after enabling the virtual machine platform because it wouldn't boot up in case anyone else is having the same problem.
