How do I get 35mm film out of the camera when it's done? | ANALOG ESSENTIALS

I got into analog shooting a modified roll of 120 on a 620 Kodak from the 1930s. The optical quality is far from the best and the negs are so large that you can only take 8 pics with it, but using a 90 year old camera that still works today made it worth it!

You can also usually hear the film disengaging from the take up spool.

Good video! Now you need one for 120. Being a lab I get tons of 120 that is obviously loaded wrong.
Also rewinding your film backwards causes all sorts of problems and extra work for the lab because the tool they use to extract / retrive the film will not work. Please learn how to use the camera before using it.

The early Olympus OM cameras will often have there rewind release on the front of the camera next to the lens.

this video was very helpful! thank you! however, I have a weird question for you that I don't know if you'll know the answer to. I got this pre-owned Canon AV-1 film camera, very similar in model to your Pentax in the video. The crank on mine is missing and I'm getting my fingers sliced by the piece remaining. know of any places or anywhere I can get a replacement? I'd like to save my fingers, especially as I've been using this camera more and more lately.

Again I press the release button and I'm not getting no resistance. Before I opened it and as thought I was sone as been winding for ten minutes. Nope not done. I'm again getting no resistance so I don't want to risk opening it. Have pressed the release button. I'm struggling so much with analogue I can't even get it loaded or unloaded without help. Feel so stupid. Only ever got 1 film developed in 2 years. I kiss can't get how to use it correctly no matter how many tutorial I watch or get shown. As soon as I'm alone I can't figure out anything 😔
Now just stuck with an unloaded camera and I wanted to load more film but can't risk opening it again.
