Congratulations for your Book, I try to avoid the refined carbs during my feeding time and after 3 years I lost 80 pounds, I keep my weight

I know people who have overdone protein and keto desserts in their eating window and in turn have gained a lot of weight, even though they were doing intermittent fasting as well. Excess protein turns into sugar and their carb count quickly adds up resulting in insulin levels that remain higher for longer, that means being in a fat-storage state.

Been 16/8 fasting for over 6 months, normally have OMAD at weekends, hardly feel hunger, energy is good, but can overeat at dinner, which may have caused inconsistent in the results. Now I have to count calories to avoid overeat, see what happens. Thanks for your video (from a new subscriber)!

So do you still need to be in a caloric deficit, even while eating keto, during your eating window?

I have been doing 16-8 IF (6 pm to 10 am) since August, I haven't paid attention to my nutrition, meaning pretty much eat anything and everything during the feeding window. I haven’t lost ONE SINGLE pound 😔😫
I need to pay more attention to my food

One of the parts of low carb/IF that I like the most is that I don't have to worry about calories. Eat the right foods, don't eat very often, those are the only two variables. Granted, by only eating for a 1 to 1.5 hour window, that naturally limits the amount of calories I can eat, but if I haven't eaten for 23 hours I can get pretty darn close to a full days food in an hour. I never would have believed until I tried it, but I love the cycle of fasting and feasting. I like it much better than eating regularly. And considering I've lost all my bodyfat and it stays off naturally, I think my body agrees with me.

I do alternate fasting and eat anything and as much as I like during my eating day. I’ve lost 9 kg this way. I eat what I love, every second day. The best “diet” ever.

Received your book today on my kindle Enjoying every single page so far. Thank you for making it so simple. I am 77 years old and have been doing intermittent fasting for 4 years. I fast every single day for 16 hours or more and only start eating at 11.30 am - stopping eating at 17.30 or latest 19.30 Do not go to bed until 3 hours have passed from my last meal. I'm going to look for the answers in your book also, but there is a lack of specific information (across all the keto/if channels I watch) about: 1. hair loss - is it caused by lack of certain vitamins or too few calories? 2. how/when to take certain vitamins (with food only? during fasting? if lack of vitamins cause hair loss what to do during longer fasts? I've tried taking multi on empty stomach in the morning and am nauseous for an hour. are liquid vitamins in water better? I know collagen is good, but it breaks a fast also, so when do I get that into my diet? I love your channel and your info, I know these are very specific questions but honestly not readily found info (for me anyway).

Hi from Alicante in the south of Spain.. I bought your book (Kindle version) yesterday and just made your Caesar salad dressing for my big bowl of salad. It’s SOooo GOOD! Looking forward to restarting my weight loss with a different schedule of IF as I have plateaued now for a few months whilst doing 16:8 with lunch and dinner.
