It was fun to see Ted do the interviewing. The fact that he’s a practicing primary care physician adds to his credentials because he sees actual people with metabolic disease all the time.

Thank you for addressing this. I have increased my protein, and stopped using excess fat, thanks to you. And you're right, when I included a keto protein bar, I would overeat them. It's good to know I'm not the only one and it's just not a moral failure. It's those darn artificial sweeteners. Thank you for being trailblazers and making these videos available. YOU ARE ROCK STARS! ❤️ Diet Doctor.

I love how Dr Enfeldt always mentions delicious foods. The science of eating often forgets that part and how essential it is for most people. 🙏

I totally agree with this dr. I started this life changing journey in Sep. 2021. I found I needed a little more protein in my diet. Weight has dropped 40 lbs and blood work looks great. IF is the key along with having enough protein to keep you from feeling hungry.

Of course, our Swedish doctor's favorite food is salmon. Mine too. 💙 Being of Norwegian ancestry, our grandmother served us kids salmon, tuna, or sardines for lunch. White fish, like cod for dinner. We grew up loving fish. Still do, many fond memories.

I know this discussion isn’t specifically about type 2 diabetes, but no one ever mentions Dr. Roy Taylor and his work around simple low calorie diets -less than 800 a day for three months -reverses diabetes. I am curious to know how his work is assessed in the diet doctor community and if so what types of foods should make up the calorie intake?

I suspect that the ideal ratios would vary in time, depending on one's development and the seasons. The basics don't change, but the application is a process 🖖

Coming from an area of the country where obesity and diabetes is very high it struck me that the attendees of the this conference walking by were normal weight. I agree that tons of added fat is not the way to go especially when you are near goal weight.
