The reason why this film still beats the modern Michael Bay films is the fact that the turtles organic. No CGI effects to interrupt the characterization of the turtles.

This scene melts my heart and its very relatable. She first still sees them as weird mutants first even coming out from sewer then the next scene she starts laughing and having a great time.

Its also relatable because one of my friends first saw me as a weirdo but as we talked more and more she starts having a good time with me and i made her laugh like crazy.
