Where I am, the city has lied about the safety of tap water. There was a leak of some poisons and every district around us gave out advisories. Every business in those districts no longer allowed people to use their tap water for drinking.

However, our district and city didn't. Our district, despite being able to literally *smell* the difference (and it literally made me gag when I tasted the water), said it was completely safe to drink.

They then put in dangerous amounts of chlorine to fix the problem and still said it was safe.

Well a random guy on the internet said it's fine. I guess I'll go back to my tap water. RIP Flint Michigan.
