This computer science video is one of a series on linear algebra for computer scientists. In this video you will learn about linear combinations of vectors, that is, you will learn how to create new vectors by scaling then adding other vectors together. You will also learn that some sets of vectors can form bases (plural of basis) for the creation of all other vectors within a particular vector space, through linear combination with the appropriate scalar coefficients. In particular, you will see how a pair of linearly independent two dimensional vectors can be used as a basis for the creation of all possible vectors in two dimensional space. The terms span, linear dependence, linear independence and zero vector are defined. You will also be introduced to the standard basis, namely a basis comprised of orthogonal unit vectors, sometimes referred to as an orthonormal basis.

Are you doing a series on 'Understanding Operating Systems' anytime soon on his channel...??? It'd be extremely helpful for us forever! Your explanations are like you're the God who made these subjects.

actually its different than 3Blue1Brown, you focus much more on the basic behind the math! Good Job, what do you use for animating these?

Nice, I am already learning linear algebra on 3Blue1Brown channel, but I am for sure going to learn from you aswell! Are you planning to say something about euler angles and quaternions that are used for rotations in 3D Graphics?

Which of your playlist of your series on this channel require updates ( more new videos )...? Like for e.g I think you're still working on adding new videos in Python Programming playlist. Which playlists on this channel are complete and require no new videos...? 🤔🧐
