This computer science video is one of a series on linear algebra for computer scientists. The study of linear algebra requires an understanding of trigonometry, indeed, the two are inextricably linked. In this video you will learn about the three trigonometric functions which relate an acute angle of a right angle triangle to the ratio of the lengths of two sides, namely, the Sine, Cosine and Tangent functions. You will learn how these functions can be derived and will see the origin of some well-known trigonometric ratios.
Chapters:
00:00 Circular motion
01:11 The angles of a right angle triangle
01:52 The hypotenuse, adjacent and opposite sides
02:16 Derivation of trigonometric ratios
06:31 The Sine function
07:45 The Cosine function
08:40 The Tangent function
11:47 Trigonometric functions in history
12:07 Summary of well known trigonometric ratios

You had uploaded a few OS related videos over the course of these years and I could never find them because they were never a part of any playlist...! Can you please categorize them as OS so that anyone looking for them can easily find them...?
Also, last and currently I checked, 70% of your playlists have disappeared from their categories even though the videos are still there...

So, if Sin theta/Cos theta = tan theta and tan theta = opposite/adjacent, then Sin theta = opposite and Cos theta = adjacent?

Can you make your videos on dark mode pretty please? It hurts the eyes if i watch a white video for longer than 5 minutes
