M-Audio M-Track Solo | Big Problem!! 2022 (red light issue)

I have used this for just a handful of days. During a keyboard/piano recording .. I started to hear a buzz, The Output volume was only at around 5-5 1/2 and all of a sudden.. Red lights of doom! Now it doesn't work at all.
If anyone knows how to fix. Leave it in the comments. Its almost new..

Jangan nyalakan "phantom power" kalau anda menyambungkan input ke mic dinamic atau alat musik yang tidak butuh daya 48 volt. Kata teknisi saya, voltase yg dikirim dari phantom akan berbalik, sehingga IC korslet/terbakar bila yang disambungkan ke input tidak butuh daya 48 volt. Kejadian terjadi pada saya, karena saya menyambungkan gitar, tapi lupa mematikan Phantom Power.
Semoga teman2 yang baru beli audio card, apapun mereknya pastikan phantom power posisi off sebelum memasukan jack ke lubang "input" . Jangan hidupkan phantom power bila menggunakan mic dinamik atau alat musik yg tidak membutuhkan suplay DC 48 volt.

Don't turn on "phantom power" if you connect the input to a dynamic mic or musical instrument that doesn't require 48 volt power. My technician said, the voltage sent from the phantom will reverse, so that the IC shorts/burns if the one connected to the input does not require 48 volt power.

The "M" in "M-Audio" stands for "MAYBE"-Audio

SGM3204 power inverter for the M-track needs to be replaced that's the reason for the red lights being on all the time.

Happend to me 2 days ago. I only have it for 3 months. I contacted the store that I bought it from but sadly it's not covered by the warranty anymore since it's overseas.

Вышел из строя инвертор напряжения SGM3204YN6G/TR, , это такая маленькая деталь с 6 ногами и надписью SL6**. Это узкое место схемотехники, боится статического электричества. Потрогайте ее она должна быть очень горячая. Ее необходимо заменить. Надеюсь, я помог вам и всем у кого подобная проблема.

Ive got solution. Problem is in power voltage inverter IC2. Just replace it (SGM3204) or put any other IC which can provide 200ma and thats it :D

Hey, im an electronic engineering. I own the same m audio product, just the duo version of it. I observed the same problem in my device and i tried to diy fix it and the issue with this is a 6 pin ic gets shorted due to some sort of corrupted hardware issue. Its almost near to not fixable, and i also contacted the company's assistance team, turns out mine was out of warranty so, lol

I've had the same problem on my m track duo just now. I've had it for half a year now and I'm really disappointed. I don't know if it'll ever get replaced cause I live in the Philippines.

Hi, I'm from Spain and I bought this product literally three hours ago. Testing and plugging things in, all of a sudden these lights come on and it makes a weird noise on the audio output.

I think that this is a failed product. I also have the m track duo, setting the gain at 95% suddenly distortion.

I have the Duo, it has crazy volume problems and just stopped working. They're support has been absolute crap so far. It takes then a week to email back the same...update the drivers, try a different cable, try a different computer. I'm calling them Monday. If they don't fix it I'm buying a Scarlet and reviewing the thing in YouTube and their trash customers support. I bought it just a few months ago

Tenía el mismo problema de leds rojos, cambie el inversor SL6 y se soluciono, funciona de nuevo.
