M-Audio M-Track Solo. Warning! Red lights.

Red lights of doom! Do not turn your volume up past 8 and use at own risk “phantom” power. The pre-amps are burning out. Using a regular mic or guitar seems to work Ok but.. Just giving you a heads up. Cheers.

That's it. I plugged the bass on in XRL with phantom power and intantly it stoped working. So disappointing :(

I record vocals, so I prefer a condenser mic and was very disappointed when my m audio interface stopped working after recording like two songs 😫 lol now I’m back to using my crappy blue yeti microphone 😂

If I use a external phantom power to feed my condenser mic, then plug the signal to the m-track, would that let me use it without problems since I am not using the card's phantom power?

I have a question, I've just got this interface. I plugged everything fine and it worked fine but the next day I plugged everything like the other day, it worked and all of a sudden it stopped working. When I play the keys on the interface there is connection (green light) but when I'm recording this audio line is just like this :
Like there is no signal. Maybe you know what's the problem?

I unfortunately purchased from a Mercari for streaming but moment I plugged in usb already got red lights

I owned M-Track Solo, and when I plugged in my PC on Win10, it always detect as USB AUDIO CODEC.
And when I install the M-Track Solo and Duo 1.0.3 driver, it cannot install, the Setup Wizard not showing, and always have Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable pop-up 2 times, and then it quits.

When I runned my DAW (Studio One), its show NO AUDIO DRIVER.

i am running into an issue where it makes my voice deep. My voice is already deep enough, but my friends tell me it gets deeper sometimes when I join discord. I have to unplug it unplug it and plug it back in, it goes back to normal half the time. Rn though it's not wanting to go away which is why I'm here. Hopefully this doesn't happen to me, sorry it did to you!

Is there a way or process (order of actions - eg-set 0 on the line dial before connecting microphone) to use a condenser microphone and phantom power without destroying the unit?
