Avoid Autism Meltdowns (3 Proven Ways YOU NEED TO SEE)
Показать описание
Autism meltdowns are very disabling to a person, but here are 3 ways you can help avoid them instantly.
Like most autistic people, I have had all kinds of meltdowns from monthly to daily and these can range from just a slip in routine or an on going sleep issue.
But it doesn't always have to end in a meltdown, there are ways in which we can help prevent an autism meltdown occurring or at least lower the frequency in which they occur.
I have listed out 3 ways in which I make sure I try to avoid meltdowns happening at all costs.
1. The Backup Plan
I create 2 back up plans for any event or activity I am about to do, the B, and C plan. This means that if plan A fails all is not lost and I can focus on B, however if B also fails I can focus on C. There is never a time where more than 3 plans fail at once so its a solid tip!
2. Breathing
I use the Buddhist breathing technique that is a breathe in for 5 seconds hold it for 5 seconds and breathe out for 5 seconds. Doing this 5 times instantly calms your body down.
3. Brillia
Brillia is a non habit forming, safe to use over the counter medication that is designed specifically for ADHD and autism. It helps reduce anxiety and stress.
4. BONUS TIP: Situation Removal.
If you are feeling uneasy and you feel you are getting close to a meltdown, instantly remove yourself from the situation and environment you are currently in. This will
If you have any tips please share them :).
