I'm on linux for 4 months now and all I can say is, I should've switched earlier. KDE Neon works fantastic on my 2016 HP 250 G5 Celeron laptop.

Haven't tried KDE yet, but in my experience while I can do most general basic-user tasks in a GUI in Linux Desktop Environments, when something goes wrong or I need to do something technical, I'm pretty much forced to jump into a terminal, or at least that's the only solution that's showing up online, then again they usually don't put graphical solutions for every desktop environment unless you're specifically looking for it and even then they might just put terminal commands. There might be ways around that but they're not obvious.

...and then something breaks and you go to konsole/terminal and run <program> --verbose or journalctl | grep "error" and e.t.c. and dig into what was at the beginning of the video
