Google Pixel 9 OVERHEATING Issues?

Having taken the Pixel 9 out for some camera samples, I noticed that it starts to overheat when filming 4K 60FPS and 4K 30FPS video for long periods of time. While the weather here is hot, it shouldn’t be the case for a high-end smartphone like this one. On top of that, the video that the Pixel 9 managed to film came out less than impressive, and choppy. I can only hope the video capabilities improve with a software update once the smartphone officially launches!

This is why I'm going for the pro model. This model doesn't have the vapor chamber. I saw a post with someone doing a heavy work load test and the pro model didn't over heat. It got up to 48 degrees though, unlike the iPhone which hit 44 degrees

Good thing I got myself a Snapdragon Samsung S24 upgrading from an S10+ and a broken Google Pixel 6!
8k video quality is phenomenal and at no point did this thing ever get hot or dim with such an ultra efficient chipset and a huge vapor chamber!
Blessed to be in America for this!

Yeah I was thinking this might happen. They only put the vapor chamber in the Pros and not the base model. Which is their way in my opinion to get more 💲

I think most flagship phones have a similar issue except for a few such as S24

I have the pixel pro 9 It has disconnected from the Internet 4 times in two days. Something to be concerned about? If so ill return today and get the iPhone 16

It uses Samsung rebranded exynos processors, what do you expect.
Plus a screen at full brightness is in itself a great source of heat

LOL Nothing on Pixel devices improves with time - it's the usual rinse-repeat-recycle statement. Software cannot fix shitty hardware components (overheating, display power consumption, poor battery, crappy camera lag, slow disk I/O, etc.) since since time immemorial...erm Nexus One /N1.

dont listen to the reviews the phone doesnt overheat nor give you these overheating messages, i can record at 4k for an hour the phone performs fine with no image quality issues. dont listen to everything u see

Nah it's not going to improve. It's been known exynos process overheat and it's been rumored before the release. Sorry your screwed on that department

What I learned from the 6a overheating when using a lot especially on the road during summer heat is keep your phone in A/C vent when riding A/C on. Do the same with my 9 now and keeps the phone cool while driving lol can't obviously do that outdoor but maybe keeping it in a cool container with ice 😅 😎🧊🧊🧊 📱
