I think it was a huge mistake for Google to omit the vapor cooling chamber from the base 9 considering the price went up $100 this year. So people like me that could only afford the base Pixel 9 would likely encounter more overheating than the Pro models.

People give too much importance to geekbench scores. I have the iPhone 15 pro and the pixel 7A and honestly couldn't tell the difference between the two in terms of performance when it comes to everyday activities. 🤷

I am sure the tensor G4 will work just fine.

I have good battery life on pixel 8 pro. Also the fingerprint scanner works very well. I don't care if one is a millisecond faster.

Tensors are not rebranded Exynos chips. They are completely different. The only similarities are the ARM core designs (but not even the layout) and being made on a Samsung fab. That's it.

They didn't mentioned it on the keynote and I cannot find anywhere that says that the fold has it. Right now I preordered the fold but I'm thinking of going pro route just for the vapor chamber

One big problem that I have with my pixel 8 Pro is car calls.
Not music through Bluetooth not android auto just the calls.
I think you should mentioned that lots o users experience it.

The fact the Google has made the base model 200 bucks more expensive since the pixel 7 without any upgrades yet they didn't include the vapor chamber in the base model 9 I'm one of the biggest Google fans I know yet that's not right.

I think this is equivalent to the iPhone 4 launch. I am so excited to see the review for the pixel 9 pro fold and the XL. This os Google's year for products. I don't think apple will be able to top this.
