If it's badly optimized on PC, it's badly optimized on Xbox. Xbox has a special version of Windows on it so they roughly run about the same sometimes.

Apparently, the poor optimization is on every platform for the EA Play Trial version. People were complaining that even on the latest hardware, their CPUs are getting bottlenecked

Devs are trying to blame the series S for poor performance and saying that it's holding this generation back but they are literally just doing that to not have to properly optimize their games. That's why newer games are almost requiring you to buy a near $1000 GPU just to have decent graphical fidelity

Nothing to do with Series S, Forza Horizon 5 looked PHENOMENAL and even has a SOLID 60 fps mode on Series S with 1440p, it's the 3rd party devs not optimizing and making shit games
