Holly Willoughby returned to This Morning on Monday and admitted she felt 'shaken, troubled' and 'let down' after Phillip Schofield lied to her and ITV colleagues over his affair with a younger man who worked on the show.

The reason why this is talked about so much is not because of the affair, toxic work place or the lies. The main point is that he met this boy at a very young age, gave him a job, kept in touch with him and exploited him physically and mentally. That's where the public outrage comes from. And the ITV bosses knew and abetted all of this. Children have no voice and they need to be protected at all costs!

Grooming is when someone builds a relationship, trust and emotional connection with a child or young person so they can manipulate, exploit and abuse them. Children and young people who are groomed can be sexually abused, exploited or trafficked.

I'm 33 and would feel so uncomfortable even thinking about dating a 20 year old, let alone if I was 34 years his senior, already married as well as his employer! It's beyond corrupt and unethical. That poor boy seems to have had his life torn apart by this predatory relationship and I also say this as someone who was abused and groomed throughout my entire childhood. They make it feel like love, they really do. Groomers rely upon children and young people keeping quiet, as well as all other enablers staying silent. Phillip exploited his position of power as well as trust. For goodness sake he met this boy when he was at SCHOOL. I'm confused why people continue to defend him.

I mean.... what Phil 'described" as "just getting to know each other", "talking about careers", "seeing each ither as friends for years" (all thise things took place when the kid was a KID, and like what 10 seconds after the kid is now legal "he accidentally fell ontop of him" sort of thing. Come on.. hes basically descrived the process of grooming. He was just smarter than his brother to wait till he was barely of age befor making his move... but frabkly it sounds like hed been "courting him" for a while, doing favours etc... and THAT'S why this is such a big thing. If it had been a teeage girl people would be equaoly questioning, if not, more so.
