3 Biggest 'BJJ Mistakes' Older Guys Make

This video is about what I see as 3 of the most common mistakes older Brazilian Jiu-jitsu students make when starting out in the art.

This is really advice for anyone new to BJJ (or any martial art for that matter). Some of the baddest Jiu-jitsu practitioners are in their 50's, 60's, 70's. This is really geared towards you guys starting out.

Also, this is just my observation and advice based on problems and issues I've seen with older guys (40+) when it comes to becoming a BJJ practitioner. There's no one way of doing martial arts and your path is unique.

I hope this video helps some of you getting started of thinking about getting started with Jiu-jitsu.

I strongly recommend BJJ, for everyone, but especially the older guys out there who need something mentally and physically engaging, something that's empowering yet humbling at the same time, and not to mention a seriously effective form of self-defense!

Thank you, Sir, for taking the time to make this video and sharing your thoughts. You are 100% correct and as a 63 year old who trains. Training safe is a big key factor for me.
