Hello Ed. Thank you so much for this post. I have always loved that song, but I never knew who sung it. You’re right, it is a very beautiful song. I remember hearing it on soft rock/easy listening music radio stations, but I never knew who the music artist was that sung it, until now that you have posted this. I am very sorry that Randy Vanwarmer did not have longevity with his life, to continue to give us beautiful music. 😢 I am very sorry he died so young.😢 Thank you again for this post Ed. R.I.P. Randy. Randy had a perfect high tenor singing voice much like Dan Fogelberg. I too love this song… so sad And it likely the only pop hit with an autoharp solo!
