Was fortunate to become friends with Glenn during the mid to late 80's. Have many fond memories of having lunch at my club with him and introducing him to many bands he was not familiar with. Just a sweet and lovely guy.
RIP my friend.

I met Glenn Frey at Pebble Beach Golf Course back in 1997 and he signed my Laserdisc cover of Eagles “Hell Freezes Over” I had if professionally framed and it remains one of my favorite pieces of Rock n Roll memorabilia. Glenn was a complete gentleman and could not have been any nicer when I visited with him. RIP GF 🙏

I graduated Royal Oak, Dondero High School 1976.
Saw a Bob Seger all around Detroit area.
The street outside high school has been renamed Glenn Frey Blvd.
A great time to grow up in the Detroit area.

Glenn was a genius. He really understood the entire musical picture when many did not. It was his decisions that helped secure Eagles as the greatest selling band in American history and one of the top three greatest selling bands of all time worldwide! There will never be another and I miss his wise words so much.

Desperado is my favorite Eagles album, and inspired me to learn how to play the guitar myself. I can still play every song on that album by heart.

When I was in college, I borrowed my roommates motorcycle and visited Winslow, AZ. I was literally standing on a corner in Winslow, AZ. It was a quiet but profound moment for me as a musician.

Thanks so much for this, I have loved the Eagles for many years and the loss of Glenn was a great shock and seemingly the end of what was one of the world's greatest bands.
Hopefully the other members may carry on, but Glenn was such a fixture in the line-up. RIP Glenn.
