The mouth is the first stage of digestion.
-
The health of the mouth 👄 has a HUGE impact on general health and it’s vastly overlooked.
-
If you there are gut issues…start by taking care of your mouth!
-
Tongue scrapping is great for removing bacteria 🦠, yeast, and other nasty stuff off the tongue. I recommend a 100% copper one over the plastic ones due to it’s anti microbial properties.
-
Flossing is important, but I use “natural” floss to avoid chemicals like PFAS.
-
Brushing with an electric tooth brush is just mechanically superior to a regular toothbrush.
-
The food grade 3% hydrogen peroxide cleanses the mouth after doing all these things.
-
I sometimes skip this step as I typically do it as NEEDED. It can be hard on sensitive teeth or those who already have poor enamel so it’s not essential in this protocol.
-
The oralive product I use to finish this while thing actually helps remineralize the teeth while also introducing healthy bacteria into the mouth.

It’s got a ton of stuff in it…check it out.

I have no affiliation with any of these companies. Just wanted to share this with yall 🦍

Dr. Bronner's peppermint hemp castile soap is my shower soap for years. I'll have to give the toothpaste a try.

You need fluoride in your oral care routine. It’s completely safe if not swallowed. And if your really that much of a nerd that you want to put the slight chance that your endocrine system will be disrupted over your oral health then use a toothpaste with Nano-Hydroxiyapatite, it’s the main ingredient in children’s toothpaste in case they swallow it. And no, xylitol alone is not strong enough to mineralize your teeth and protect against cavities. Trust me, I’ve been down this road. I had been using fluoride toothpaste my entire life and just recently switched to Tom’s brand fluoride free toothpaste because guys like Paul Saladino and Santa Cruz Medicinals scared me into it. In under a year I got my first cavity in my 23 years of living and I was pissed. I will never use a toothpaste without fluoride ever again.
