Not sure if this works for anybody else, but I've been having the same problem with my p S5 slim. What works for me is completely power it off. Then to turn it on, don't hit the power button. instead Hit the eject button on the disc drive for the disk. It powers it on in the process at the same time ejecting the disk. so far that's been working every time for me.

Any of y’all try to eject your disc and it makes a weird sound like it’s stuck? I have mine standing up on a fan attachment and have to give it a good hard tap on the side to make it release any suggestions? It happens every time

Do we have to rescrew the bottom screw that we use to eject the disc? Like after we turn it clockwise do we then turn it back counter?

For me, it’s not giving me the option to eject the disc but yet the disc is in the console wtf 😂

Ps5 is absolutely crap, just want to play a freaking game, every time, some update even tho I have game on disc, then the freaking console doesn't recognize there is a disc inserted.... rubbish

Try hitting the eject button and while it's clicking, give the right side of the console a gentle but firm smack. Mine came out
