Okay i have a problem and I don’t got a clue how to fix it please respond. I was playing elden ring when out of nowhere the disc started being unreadable and when i put the disc back in the ps started doing weird noises.I cleaned the disc, rebuilded data base and cache too, restarted the console and basically everything and it isn’t working. What do i do? Do i clean the disc drive? Or what ??

I was just playing “STAR WARS Jedi: fallen order” and then I take the disc out and then put in a brand new disc (star wars disc is brand new to) and it doesn’t read it nor the star wars disc and I just got the ps5 2 days ago pls help

Swapped the disc drive completely and it still didnt help. Any pointers?

Bro this is so annoying i have to do this like every couple of days and more then once both clean cache & rebuild data base in order to get it working.. and the funny thing is, it only does this with PS5 disks like i can put in every PS4 disk i own in there and it reads it like it's nothing but the PS5 disks ooh no then it's being difficult.. this and then the forced overheated shut down makes this console really annoying ngl..

My disc was playing fine, just got granblue relink yesterday and inserted in now can't read, remind you now its a brand new disc, , , i think it has to do with the new system update

Wow, cache clear worked. This didn't even show up on Sony official support, they just suggested doing a factory reset! 🤦🏻‍♂️
