For the rage-splitting scenario, there is another possibility if you decide to group while your opponent splits: you just get nothing done. Enemy might simply avoid letting you fight, while still potentially being able to prevent objectives. 16:55 gold lead isn't the only important thing. Full items and power spikes caused by completing them is a massive deal. So how the gold is utilizied is more meaningful than just the raw amount of it that your (or enemy) team has.

I HAAATE when 100g worth enemies rage split. Why can't they just group mid and accept the loss like a normal person?
I LOVE when my 0/15 ADC does it though. Might even sneak in a little honor for it if they haven't flamed

The problem is that if you are not getting giga fed, then the enemy Top/Mid will do. That's why in low elo u must keep dominating, even after u are already ahead.

Followed advice. Got flamed for farming mid and not grouping at Baron just before it spawned. They lost 4v5 team fight, was "all my fault".
Learnt new skill. I suck again.

Man I've seen the mid inhib thing so many times. I keep pinging them to do other objectives and they die for the mid inhib giving the enemy Drake or Nash. There's usually no way to deter them from it.

6:50 the seraphine and ezreal could rotate towards bottom river and leave the senna. 1 dead is better than 3. Kiting and poking on the way towards the elise could result in a counter engage and win the fight for them as well as long as the carry (ezreal) stays alive.

Rage splitting is legit. I had an udyr that was 1 and 12 vs me top. I would go group with my team and he would jaut keep pushing. They ended up holding us off and winning. It was frustrating

Can you also explain how to tp when splitting? Its more effective if you post a video than me writting in the comments.

There is always the scenario where your top laner is ahead, and he mindlessly splits until he gets caught, and he expects everyone to be at the baron/drake even though there are waves to catch mid and the opposite side of the split.

The moment you see 1 there, just tp to the objective. You have done your job. There is no need to die and throw a shutdown, specially if your team is not immediately reading your mind.
