I really feel you were alittle biased and not really fair towards the Pixel, I have the Honor Magic 5 pro that I have been using daily for around 6 months and I have just had the Pixel 8 pro for around 1 month now. From what I can tell is the main camera in terms of detail are almost spot on equal, the wide is better, the Zoom is definitely better too. The front camera is miles better specially with colour as the Chinese phone always make you super pale and weird. BUT for me its the colour consitancey between all lens and video. I just couldn't stand the Magic 5 pro how it change the contrast so heavily from each lens.

I think you should have given more points to the Pixel for the front camera looking way more natural ( colour, contrast and shadows )

Also things like Pan and long exposure are some of the coolest modes Ive actually used ( and work well )

Anyways Im super happy with the Pixel except the Battery charging speeds could be better :)

I hope they fix the lens change during video capture like Vivo did. Currently Vivo has the best Android lens transition in my opinion. But they still have a long way to go to compete with Apple on video side. Great video as usual. I bought a Pixel 8 Pro for 480€ and I am keeping it until next flagships are released. Oppo find x8 ultra, Xiaomi 15 ultra and Vivo x200 ultra will be a huge upgrade in the smartphone camera department. Maybe the best upgrave we've seen in decades. Also Pixel will finally switch to TSMC and 10 series will be worth their money if they don't raise the price.

Switch on problem on the pixel 8 pro can't be fixed, it is because camera lenses are away from each other, and it's okey because you know that camera is switching

Xiaomi's lens switches is one of the best in class, Google gotta put more RnD in that department. Aside from another great thorough video tho, I'm digging the MGS shirt!
