I find that the difference is not terrible compared to the Pixel 8 Pro. I find the images the same and the Pixel 8 Pro is even better. I believe then I will still keep it and wait for her 10

Fake bokeh is so tacky and I can't believe portrait mode is still a thing. I would rather phone manufacturers focus on improving panorama mode, slow motion, etc. Which Google finally did this year with panorama mode.

The Pixel 8 Pro is better in most shots for me. More natural colours, saturation and contrast.

bought the 8 pro a month before the 9 was announced at a significant discount...while the 9 pro xl is better I don't think it's 50% better not even close to that (considering the current price difference).So pretty happy with my purchase.But If you haven't upgraded already it might be a good idea to wait a bit for a discount(or just fork the cash upfront if that's your cup and value is not important to you - but keep in mind that Google has had many deals on their phones throughout their lifecycle historically...some close than other) if you can do that as I've heard the modem is better in the new one... haven't had any signal issues with mine but I guess it also depends on where you live...

Love smaller phones! I went from a P7 pro to a P8 as opposed to the P8 pro bc I was tired of huge phones. Bc of it's size, upgrading to a Pixel 9 pro from the regular 8 is a definite YES for me!

Hi Daniel, thanks for the live comparison! Question: for the photos did you use the standard 12MP or the 50MP setting? The second was one of the main reasons I upgraded from a 7 Pro to 8 Pro, and on bright conditions they are superb, however I'm not happy with the capture lag and low light results.

8pro to 9pro: After watching camera comparisons and seeing speed tests and seeing nearly identical performance thats only really detectable if you are holding them side by side, I see no reason to upgrade, especially for the much higher price tags between the models.

Hey, good video! Any thoughts on the real-world differences between the cameras on the 9 Pro vs the 9 Pro Fold? Really interested in the fold, but if the camera is lame, especially the at the telephoto end, then that's a deal breaker.
