BMW you've never improved past the M54-N52 engines... Can we talk about oil chain and tensioner failures on your N20-26 variants. How about persistent valve stem seals since the 90's on your V8's. Or even the recent N63 turbos and lines that caused a furor to reduce the price of them at the wholesale counter. And let's not forget the oil cooler issues on the N54 or the Nikasil issues of the M50-52. OR the VANOS, Rod bearing destruction of the S63. Many more but i'm sure most people these days are only focused on your grill design vs recalling what your slogan used to be...the ultimate driving machine.
