In original story, they stole the Kasaya from Wukong's master which Wukong then played a prank on them and burned their temples. Didn't expect them to become yaoguai. It's quite awesome for us who used to watch the story of journey to the west as we grow up.

In the original story Guang Mou and Guang Zhi suggested the plan to Jinchi and set the small building in the back that the Tang monk was in on fire. WuKong heard their plan and borrowed the wind tool from another God to “help” them. The strong wind carried the fire to the main temple then everything started burning down. Jinchi was trapped in the fired with the Kasaya and committed suicide in shame. The black bear originally came to the temple to save everyone from the fire. After seeing all the small monks were gathering water, he traveled to the back of the temple to save Jinchi. However he found Wukong blowing fire into the main temple and Jinchi’s dead body, so he took the Kasaya and left without anyone noticing. Some of the YaoGuais in the book are not evil. One bad decision from Jinchi changed so many people and Yaoguais’ lives forever 😢 一失足成千古恨

pro tip before you kill elder Jinchi - make sure to kill wandering wight and absorb his spirit,

Because if you kill elder jinchi wandering wight disappears and you can’t even get his lost spirit, which is one of the best. (happened to me I’m still so sad)

My friend has his game on Chinese and he says the china VAs sound stoic and calm even while fighting.

Also in chapter 2 when u kill the tiger vanguard and u get the rock solid skill if u use that on the 2 tiger in the secret area, he will start asking you about how are you able to use his technique.

I remember every afternoon after preschool i watch this series on TV, not much action but very funny and interesting series. Its also remind me of my granma whos makes my lunch when i watch this on TV. I welcome everyone that i trested in all of Chinese classical culture but currently no reboot or new movie that good at making it. I hopes this game will ignite the ambitions of every producer that play this game 😂

it happens with spells too. If you cast Imobilize, some bosses will call you a trickster and actually overcome the spell, saying it doesn’t work on them ( it works but it lasts like 2-3 seconds )

With the transformation. When you fill the bar, hit a back dash then hold the heavy move and walla. My favorite move lol, helped me a lot already, getting distance and then still jump back a little, high in the air and dash🔥🔥🔥🔥
