At first Fry hardly felt anything about never seeing his loved ones again(contributed them to his lousy life) but as the series went on you could see he really started to miss them.

The first cameo of Nibbler is still great to this day. They already had the storyline plotted out during the original Fox broadcast.

The very beginning Fry wasn't worried about his family, through the whole series it showed so much sadness with each and every family member, his dog, brother, mother and father...Even though Seymor's episode they showed his mom and dad not caring for Fry even if Seymore was scratching the pod were he is.
