I think the reason fry disappeared at the end is because since fry told nibbler the scooty puff jr sucks he never got trapped in the info sphere and he never learned the truth and went back to the past thus erasing him from existence like when travis tried to stop the robot uprising

This entire show was very well thought out

When I first saw this episode, when Fry says he’ll get stuck in the infosphere again, I thought he meant that he was returning there to spend eternity with the brains and the other fry would carry on with going to the future. I know now he just vanished because he changed the future with his decision.

Since Fry was there and talked to Nibbler and decided to accept his fate, why didn't they freeze Fry from the past a little later, so he could say goodbye to his family? Perhaps the tragedy would have been less hard.

Later in the second attempt, Fry ridden Scooty-Puff Sr., a larger, faster, also more stable and more badass version of Scooty-Puff Jr. that doesn't depends to being wound-up or have that kiddish music, a space scooter Fry would be proud of flying.

This episode revealed that Fry gotten cryogenically frozen at Applied Cryogenics was no accident and Nibbler (who really highly intelligent and lived thousands of years) was the I.C. Weiner who made this order to be delivered there in order to get Fry frozen for 1000 years to save the universe from the evil space brains in the future.

Nibbler never really spoke at all. Finally, I’m able to see Nibbler speak. When Nibbler was speaking, his voice sounds like and kinda reminds of Stan Smith from American Dad!
