In this video we look at the entire timeline of Philip J Fry. We look at Fry's entire life story, his past and future. I've put Fry's life in chronological order. Taking a look at the history of Futurama, as well as his relationship with Bender and Leela.

Futurama is an American science fiction animated sitcom created by Matt Groening that aired on Fox from March 28, 1999, to August 10, 2003, and on Comedy Central from March 23, 2008, to September 4, 2013. The series follows the adventures of slacker Philip J. Fry, who is cryogenically preserved for 1000 years and is revived in the 31st century. Fry finds work at an interplanetary delivery company, working alongside the one-eyed Leela and robot Bender.

Fun fact: fry was about to be called Curtis but he was renamed to Phillip after Phil Hartman who was originally going to play zapp Brannigan. Zapps voice actor is billy west impersonating troy McClure.

So many things in this show made me cry. Fry's nephew being named after him, and bender telling his son "Daddy loves you. Remember that, won't you?" before his son got the surgery that erased his memory, and DEFINITELY the Seymour story

I love Fry's story arc so much, i remember watching that ending and thought it was so brilliant and heartwarming, which seems to be consistent in Fry's timeline. When that episode hit, i knew it was over and was sort of glad of it because the last season cemented the arc of the characters. So thank you again Lydia for another well thought out video and maybe one day you might do a timeline of zoidberg.

Hands down the best cartoon ever made.. how can you not root for Fry? There's a naive sincerity to him. I know everyone loves jurassic bark but the devil's hands is probably my favorite episode. And when Nibbler takes Fry to his mom's dream and "Manchild" comes on I lose it every time. Did it get a bit convoluted at times absolutely but at it's heart Futurama is a beautiful story from beginning to end

Fry couldn't have used the time machine to arrive to his date on time as professor Farnsworth created a forwards only time machine, so there wouldn't be any paradoxes. Then they find out time loops.

I'm convinced that Matt Groening was fed up with the stupidity of Homer Simpson and wanted a wholesome character, so he created Futurama and mad characters with more depth and personality. And I think that's the biggest difference between the Simpsons and Futurama, there is way more character depth and personality than the Simpsons.
