Nine years since Inside Out. Time flew by. Absolutely a Pixar classic.

This is also a really smart marketing tactic. Most of the audience watched Inside Out when they were kids. Now, most of them have grown into teenagers, makign this movie a lot more relatable.

I could imagine inside out 3 would be about university. Inside out 4 would be getting out of uni and finding a job, partner and house. Finally inside out 5 could be about Riley starting a family and her having to learn how to take care of kids and the amount of fear, anxiety and drama they cause

Honestly, the fact that it took them so long to make this movie comes full circle because I was a literal toddler when I first watched this and now I’m a teenager it all comes full circle

Didn’t think Pixar would make an inside out 2 but I’m glad they did make one.

I feel so bad for Riley throughout the film. And I still think about her since the moment I left the theatres. I'm just glad they didn't shy away from portraying a realistic teenager like being to aggressive or rude to her parents, rather than going towards the stereotype.

Inside out is the only franchise rn that I think deserves a full trilogy. It just has so much more to offer. In the first we saw Riley as a kid, now for the second going into high school, and if they do make a third have Riley going to college meeting a guy and having a family. And maybe they could make a 4th were she has a kid and we now follow her and her emotions as a mother like Chris said. He just has a lot more to offer and I’m excited for this movie and I’m exited to see where this franchise goes.

It really seems like the pattern with the Inside Out films is that they release during a time of crisis for Pixar and sets them back on course again

And don't forget. The Next Pixar Movie after Inside Out 2 is going to be Elio. That movie was supposed to release this year in 2024, but The Writer and Actor Strike happened in 2023. And Pixar had to Delay Elio to 2025.

My cousin is a story artist on this film. I went and visited him at Pixar last year. They still got it.
