Most of us analyst understand how powerful Python is when it comes to automation, data analysis and data visualization. I have always been wanting to work on some way to automate the data pipeline in python so that I can leverage the powerful open source python libraries available. I just recently found out about developing SAP GUI Script in Python and can just feed into Pandas dataframe to do further analysis.

In this video, I'll break down exactly how I use Python to automate the process of extracting data from SAP and feed the export into pandas for data analysis.

Hi Joel, thanks for the videos. I am having trouble connecting to multiple sessions using VBA, lets say I have multiple transactions open and want to use excel vba macros between the two of them (not simultaneously) I can only seem to attach to the first session I created. Is it possible to bounce to the different transactions that are open?

I got a new job and they use SAP HANA, I'm yet to get started but just being proactive and trying to figure out things before I start, isn't there a better way of connecting to the backend database using SQL on SAP rather than Robotic Process Automation??

Quick question, I tripped over one last step. I want to replace the existing file in the folder, but the SAP scripts that I recorded doesn't seem to have captured that. It breaks the program when there is an existing file in the folder.

Ehh in my company i can't extract data from program SAP Logon. I can extract data from SAP using excel "Analysis" so i can't automate it :/
