Known as Twitter's gynecologist, where she has more than 350 thousand followers. Jen Gunter is a fierce advocate for women’s health whose mission is to build a better medical Internet. She is the host of the TED podcast Body Stuff and of the streaming docuseries Jensplaining, and she’s also the author of the best selling books The Vagina Bible and more recently the Menopause Manifesto.
In this session she talks about what menopause is, how menopause is not a disease despite it sometimes being depicted in such a way and also why many women feel unprepared upon entering menopause and why this is a problem.
