This was a very clear question and answer session between two very smart doctors who know how to talk to people. This is the best video I’ve seen between two doctors. Great video.

Hello ladies! Immediately subscribed when I watched this video. I get so excited when I see other women coming together to talk about menopause and our bodies. It's such a taboo subject and needs us women to normalize this sort of conversation. So thankyou both for being pioneers of this movement.

Fabulous Dr he said it all. I was told this when I took my 77 yr old mother to the Gynecologist and yes she had a hysteroscopy & hysterectomy.

This was great information. My doctor has never even mentioned an endo biopsy or hystoscopy, which can be done in the Dr. Office.

Thank you Doctor. I had my first breakthrough bleeding in February and was very scared. I went to the doctor today, but the way you explain this has put me at ease to tackle with peace

Thank you so much. I didnt know about taking meds or anaesthetic for the office biopsy. It was horrible for me. 😩😓

I have been dealing with bleeding issues for quite a long time now. Looking back I think I had fibroids even while pregnant. It is too hard to describe here. Off and on gets better, then worse then better...The severe heavy bleeding improved and I thought it was over only to bleed just enough to last and last. I could go on and on but no. I have given birth to our three sons and well, I just pray I make it through this SOON! God only knows why. I am trusting him! It's a journey and I have learned alot but tired..HOPEING

Thank you both for this video, I found it very helpful and informative, as I have uterine fibroids myself and I'm also in peri-menopause, Due to a lifelong history of Anorexia Nervosa(since I was 8)so I'm used to missed periods up to 5+ years without a drop of blood, yet was very regular when well.I began early peri-menopause at 36, and have had so much atypical periods since, now at 41, I'm going through a pregnancy scare, took a test today and no lines appeared, At all! The test was invalid so first thing tomorrow, im calling for a gyn appointment. If I'm pregnant, what is the best advice for a first pregnancy at 41? I'm worried because I have breast tenderness on and off as well as mild cramping here and there.if I am, I would've concieved in late July- early August (My Boyfriend recently had major abdominal surgery, and still recovering, sex hasn't been possible) weirder I was bleeding when we made love, and the bleeding didn't stop for nearly another week after(that was a long 2 weeks!) I bled this month, yet it was way too late to be implantation bleeding, it only lasted about 4 days and was very light.

Two suggestions:
1) use the cup. It cost about 45$ at cvs.
2) Black molasses will slow up and stop bleeding.

A biopsy is painful, no anesthesia is used and they must take a sample. So go figure! When I had mine done I literally yelled and cried. Until this day I truly wondered if all that was needed.😵

The biopsy is extremely painful. Really tired of how they minimize pain

I have a friend who is 69 now but right before she hit menopause she had a period at 52 and some spotting for a couple of years, she went to a gynecologist, she did her blood work, got scanned she had no cancer it was just something she went through.
