After a hysterectomy, I went full blown into menopause with every possible symptom. The lack of sleep, and night sweats probably the worst. In addition to that I had severe arthritis in my hands and knees. I began a keto diet and within a month I had not only lost 10 pounds, but every symptom of menopause was gone as well as my arthritis. I was pain-free for the first time in years.!

I’ve been on a keto diet for 8 years but it didn’t stop me from getting debilitating menopausal symptoms. After a year of “toughing it out” and suffering, I raised the white flag and went on synthetic HRT. Hot flashes coming 60 times a day and night sweats, insomnia, and joint pain were unacceptable to me. I don’t regret it and it’s worth it to me. I’m finally starting to feel like myself again. The good thing is that there are options and every woman can choose how she wants to treat (or not treat) her body. My doctor laid out all of my options and I chose what I felt the most comfortable with. It’s good to have choices.

I'm 50 and my hot flashes were bringing me to tears almost daily. They were so intense, about one every hour and sweating everywhere, heart racing, anxiety, shakiness, and waking me throughout the nights just about every hour. Within 2 weeks going full carnivore my hot flashes were almost non existent. I might get a slight flush a day where is just feel a little warm, but don't feel a need to lay in a snowbank anymore! I'm sleeping more soundly through the nights. I still can't believe the change so suddenly.

for me it came as a joyful surprise to no longer have to deal with menopause symptoms after being carnivore for 6-8 months. I had suffered over a decade with it. now I get the odd night sweat here and there but nothing like all the horrendous symptoms from before carnivore. sure am glad I found u Dr berry!

I started keto four months ago and haven’t had a hot flush since! Also my anxiety spikes that came with the flushes have gone too 😊

If it helps anyone I found camomile tea, yoga, an afternoon nap, shopping, avoiding annoying people/ relatives and no alcohol or sugar really helped. I had about 10 max warm flashes in total and am 64 now. Xxx

My brain fog cleared up very quickly once I started a carnivore diet (at age 52 post-menopausal). Amazing!

YES! Thank for mentioning Testosterone as well, Dr. Berry. We need supplementation of bioidentical estrogen, progesterone, AND testosterone, especially those of us who have gone through surgical menopause.

Keto truly helped mine. I found out that caffeine and sugar trigged mine. As long as I stay away from those and get enough water, I am ok. I am 65 years old.

Losing 50+ pounds is what helped for me. Cutting out processed, deep fried foods, sugar and certain inflammatory veg. I haven't had any symptoms. Will be 55 later this year.

I found that my symptoms went away when I started taking three drops of iodine (Lugol's solution 2%) in a glass of water per day. I got this idea from another one of Dr. Berry's videos actually. It's great for balancing hormones.❤

I'm almost 2 years post menopausal. I had hot flashes all the time in the beginning, they lessened as time went on and now I don't have too many Mostly I still had trouble sleeping, lots of anxiety, always felt bloated. I really don't want hormones of any kind. I started keto about 5 weeks ago and also do some intermittent fasting. Now I sleep much better, anxiety has lessened a lot. I feel normal most of the time now. As a byproduct, I lost about 5 pounds and no longer feel bloated which I noticed right away. I cut out sugar, breads, pasta, etc. I now eat fat, protein and low carb veggies.

I am 53 and peri meopausal, eat low carb, do IF OMAD, play tennis and go to gym class, and I see menopause as a good thing, no more monthly discomfort 😃 I have no symptoms (yet). I think being positive about menopause, seeing it as a good thing, is important for the mindset. I think exercise helps to prevent boneloss, as taking vitamin D3+K2, and eating good protein.

I went into surgical menopause at 37. I felt suicidal anxious, disoriented. Finally my body accepted Premarin and I felt better. But when I learned it came from pregnant mares urine the cruelty had me switch to bioidentical estrogen Works fine. Menopause is no joke. Some women sail through it and in the old days women were put in mental hospitals diagnosed with hysteria. Find what works. Do your homework and you’ll be fine
