Persona 5 The Royal: Why You SHOULDN'T Wait If You Have Yet To Play The Original!

I hate to be that guy, but anyone who hasn't picked up Persona 5 already should absolutely wait for Royal. As much as I loved the base game, a lot of the story elements at the end were completely rushed and concluded in an unsatisfying way. Royal is looking to fix that flaw, so take that 20 dollars and put it towards what will definitely be the definitive edition of this masterclass of a game.

Matty I am so excited for P5 Royal, it is my first Persona game and I absolutely loved it, well I didn't get to complete it but I would be getting it again to play.

I watched like 5 first hours of P5 gameplay and have avoided spoilers since. I want to play the game, but when hearing about the royal, should I just wait for that? I would like to play the game from the scratch. If they keep the same story from the base game, I don't think there's any point for me to buy the original. This has been a big headache for me.

Been a fan ever since p3 fes. Played p3p, p4 both arana games and all the dancing games. Hell picked up p5 on release. Can't wait for P5R.

I bought Persona 5 a few months before the Royal announcement lol. I’m 62 hrs in and only lvl 31 about to do Futaka’s palace (I think that’s her name) aka Alibaba. Soooo much content already, I have no clue how much more they can possibly fit with this new addition haha! I’m still figuring out how to balance day to day activities with grinding in Mementos and completing palaces. It’s such a game changer for RPG’s in my opinion. Only complaint I have is Morgana’s constant nagging when you’re trying to do something. One of the greatest video games I’ve ever played, hands down.

Man I should have listened. Or watched this video a few years ago. I started royal on series x a few days ago and it’s one of the best games I’ve ever played. I’ve never really played a Jrpg before for maybe kingdom hearts if that counts. Are they all this good?
