I have hated the Apple’s Smart Keyboards (justo for the feel of the keys) ever since they came out, but I recently purchased an iPad Pro 11” and with it I got the Smart Keyboard Folio. I regretted it the instant I ordered it, because I remembered how awful it felt in the store, but I decided to suck it up and try to get used to it. This is day two with the keyboard folio and it is by far my FAVORITE keyboard ever. I love typing on this thing! I has a unique feel and there’s nothing quite like it. Believe me, I used to wonder why anyone would ever get this keyboard because of how awful I thought it felt. If you’re one of those people, I would recommend trying it out anyway and being open to anything, because if you do, you might find yourself in a similar experience to me. I would highly recommend this keyboard and I don’t know what changed, but I absolutely love it now! I am actually typing this comment on it and I’m making it longer right now just so that I can type more with it hahaha

I’ve got an iPad Pro 12.9 first gen and have absolutely loved my Logitech Folio keyboard case.
It’s exactly as you described here. The only drawback of the Logitech folio keyboard case (as far as my personal experience and needs go) is that it doesn’t allow angle adjusting and obviously, it can’t be used in portrait orientation, which isn’t a big deal to me. However, no angle adjustment is a huge hindrance and issue for me, especially when I use my iPad to record videos and to conduct video conference calls.

Having said all that, after almost 4 years of use, the Logitech folio keyboard case has hold up extremely well.

Adding the Logitech Folio keyboard to my iPad Pro 12.9 was literally like transforming it into a small laptop.
It’s adds a good amount of bulk and weight to the iPad, which is to expect and it hasn’t been a problem for me, even as it travels with me.

Another “con” is the amount of power it pulls from my iPad. I guess that’s the compromise in connective keyboards versus wireless keyboards, which I truly dislike!

Since I’d like to have a connective keyboard that allows for angle adjustment, I’ve been looking for another keyboard case to replace my Logitech folio but so far have found nothing that comes close to matching quality.

I paid $120 for this Logitech Folio case some 4 years ago. While it’s holding up well, I find that manufacturers charge way too much for these things. I also hate that there are hardly many options for older iPad generations and that the cheaper options are mostly junk and don’t last very long at all.

I love my iPhone and my Ipad but as far as iOS accessories go, Apple seems to REALLY love to create expensive mediocre props for its devices.
I looked into the Apple keyboard case and I was like “They’ve got to be kidding me!” LOL 😂

As you said and as usual, just like most Apple junkie accessories, the Apple keyboard case costs far more than its good quality competitors...sheesh...

Great video. Right on target!!! Thanks!! 👌😊👍

Question: I've been using the Logitech keyboard on my outgoing iPad for over a year. I loved it at first but over time, the keyboard has etched little scratches in the glass. That was the only drawback... but a very big one. I don't want to make the same mistake in my next choice for my new iPad Pro. Have you heard of this problem or did I just get a dud?
